Background
Since returning to Indiana after attending law school at the University of Oregon—where she earned a certificate in environmental and natural resources law—Jaime has been leveraging her background in biology and statistics to guide her clients at Hatchett & Hauck through complicated environmental regulatory issues.
Emphasis
Jaime enjoys navigating almost all areas of environmental regulation, from compliance counseling and enforcement to air and water permitting matters. Her focus on agency actions, predominantly for manufacturers, puts Jaime in a unique position where she can frequently help clients comply with requirements before they become enforcement concerns.
Experience
By representing clients throughout the Midwest and nationwide on permitting and enforcement matters in front of numerous state and local environmental agencies, as well as the U.S. EPA, Jaime understands that business owners typically want to do the right thing. She is pleased to utilize her experience in environmental sciences and the law to help them navigate complicated regulatory frameworks and determine the best path forward.
